Gösta Backman, Stora Fagerö:

- They came one morning, three dirty men. Their condition was pretty good, but were dirty and oily. They were not here for long, everything was pretty secret, the Russians requested them immediately. Mother got a watch, it is not left, it was a cheap wrist-watch, I do not think it even worked.

Gungerd Westerholm, Gösta´s sister, was four years.

- I remember the chocolate I received from the three Germans that lived by us. The were not injured but suffered from hypothermy. The chocolate they had in water proof bags. Still, forever I will remember the corpses that were piled like logs.
